A truly incredible season

 In 1944, Ned Garver played for Newark in the Ohio State League in D ball. That year he won 21 games against 8 losses with a 1.21 era and 221 strike outs, while also hitting .407 with 1 homer and 29 RBIs. He had a .468 OBP and a .531 SLG. He was 18.
