What did you just say?
Oh, you said "gravy."

What, you said, "navy"?
Are you sure that's what you said?

Hey, where did you go?
Oh, you're back.

I want my nap now.
I'm going to bed.  Bye.

Poems by John

Unto you your last friend
Will be death itself.

But unto you when you wake
You might find another friend.

But if not, what you have met
Is your misfortune.

Day After Day

The sun works twelve long hours.
And then he goes back home.

And Mr. Moon then will take the job over.
He works twelve long hours.

Then, when it ends, in the great collision
They will retire and sleep without an end.

Where is my house?
Why am I here?
Where am I?

Why did I do this?
Where is my home?
How far away?

I want to know this, sometime soon.
